Miles is the Principal of Black Bamboo Advisory, with 30 years' experience in capital markets and business development, and a keen eye for identifying globally competitive opportunities and building deep, long-term relationships with clients.

 

His network of international partners and associates provides his clients with opportunities for global business expansion and success.
 
Miles has a B.A. in Accountancy and Finance from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, subsequently training as a Chartered Accountant and working with high-profile clients globally. He moved into investment banking, at Macquarie Bank and Bankers Trust, growing both businesses' retail stockbroking operations from the ground up. In these two roles he led teams that raised more than A$500m in IPOs. Since then, he has founded and managed several successful businesses in a diverse range of industries.
